North End Electric was started 65 years ago as an electric motor repair shop. We now employ over 50 people two locations in North East PA. North End Electric has a 100,000sqf facility in the Hanover Industrial Park and a 10 acre shop in Scranton that employs motor and pump mechanics winders, machinists and field service technicians.

Class A Pump Truck Driver

Position: Class A Pump Truck Driver

Summary:

Looking for an experienced, reliable Class A Pump Truck Driver to join our growing team. The driver must have 2 years of CDL experience able to drive manual transmission this job will be for a Class A and Class B position pump truck and hi-vac operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time and be able to work overtime
  • Safely drive loaded and empty tanker trucks of various sizes, makes/models, and configurations
  • Properly load and unload, while safely operating pumps, valves and hoses
  • Follow company & customer’s safety procedures
  • Performs work efficiently and effectively
  • Follow DOT regulations, perform pre-and post-trip inspections
  • Ability to read and understand maps, road signs and hazardous materials markings, as well as complete company paperwork including bill of ladings and invoices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year’s driving experience is required
  • Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen & Background check
  • Must be able to balance multiple responsibilities
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Stable work history- verifiable.
  • Knowledge and experience with logbook/ELD’s and manifesting.

Journeyman Electrician

Looking for an experienced, reliable, and highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. In order to be successful, you must perform all jobs to the highest of quality, must present excellent skills in problem solving and time management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time and be able to work overtime
  • Work with customers and act professional
  • Able to create materials list and fill out daily work orders
  • Must be proficient with running up to 4″ RNC and PVC coated RNC
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical- mechanical equipment
  • Water and Wastewater experience is preferred
  • Read blueprints and schematics
  • Perform all work and or repairs to NEC and NECA standards
  • Maintain clean work environment and clean equipment
  • Must have own hand tools
  • Perform work in a safe manor
  • Motor and Pump control experience is a must

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean state driver’s license
  • Must have a valid journeyman card
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Must have 3 years minimal experience as a journeyman electrician
  • Commercial/ Industrial experience is required
  • Able to work independently
  • Be a team player
  • Good attitude
  • Great customer skills

Pay between $22- $25 an hour

Machinist

Familiar with machine cold rolled steel, bronze, cast iron, aluminum & some heat-treated materials
Mig, tig and spray weld
Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Must have 5 years minimal experience as a machinist
Commercial/ Industrial experience is required
